Charles
has over 20 years of international sales and operational experience. He
has successfully designed and implemented fast start and sustainable go
to market strategies to accelerate sales growth and revenues for several
turnarounds, acquisitions and start-up organisations, globally.
His
focus is on business growth and generating breakthrough results. He has
a demonstrable corporate grounding in leadership and achievement by building
high performance teams. He is a hands-on leader, executing the most effective
strategies and personally leading from the front.
Having
led global sales organisations, Charles has an ability to understand the
nuances of multi-cultural diversity and to find the right engagement strategies
both internally and externally to the organisation. The delivery of outstanding
results is also underpinned by his ability to deploy robust structural
sales processes.

previous roles include:

Global Sales, AVG Technologies - responsible for integrating and
rebuilding a new, multi-cultural high performance global sales business,
selling across both online and offline channels. The success of this
strategy resulted in raising $230m of VC funding.

and Operations Director, NG Bailey - designed and implemented
a strategy to build a new Systems Integration business, leveraging
existing corporate M&E revenues of £750m and adding incrementally.
Identified and led the acquisition to acquire a leading SI to fast
start the new business and strategy.

& Operations Director, Vodafone MVNO - built from scratch
the sales and operational structures and go-to-market strategies.
Hired and built a team of 400 sales people in the UK, targeted at
a new and specific segment of the market.

Director, DSGi - led a B2B strategy on increasing penetration
and revenues into the SMB sector for unified communications. Built
transactional telesales, direct and channel sales teams. In addition,
a new Business Centre infrastructure was built and leveraged within
a substantial, national IT retail base.

Director Business Unit, T-Mobile - led the turnaround and rebuild
of the new T-Mobile business sales unit. Created a go-to-market strategy
to integrate One2One and rebuild a new sales organisation focused
on the enterprise and SMB sectors.

Global Sales, International Network Services - led and managed
the global sales team outside of North America, focusing on Strategic
Partner & Alliances in Telecoms, Technology and Software organisations.
The business generated revenues of $315m within a two-year period.
