Ed has almost three decades of global experience in finance; project development; project management and general management in the Engineering, Construction and Telecommunications industries. The roles included:

• 14 years as an Executive Director at Bechtel and FLAG Telecom;

• 2 years experience as a non-Executive Director at Reliance Infocomm bv and one year as a non Executive Director and Member of the Audit Committee at Global Crossing UK Telecommunications and Global Crossing (UK) Finance PLC.

• 12 years of executive level responsibility at FLAG Telecom spanning finance; strategy; business development; procurement; project management; sales and commercial management.

• 17 years of increasing responsibility in finance; project development and project management at Bechtel; based in the UK; Middle East; India and USA.

Responsibilities included:

• Serving international telecommunications markets in Wholesale; Enterprise; Government and Mobile.

• Establishing and managing major international partnerships, consortia and joint ventures, including start up, due diligence, acquisition and disposal.

• Managing multi-billion dollar development projects with full responsibility in different roles - as contractor, project manager, developer, owner, owner’s representative and operator.

• Securing project funding for startup and operating companies through different combinations of private equity, public offerings, commercial bank debt, public debt and convertible debt.

• Managing operations in distress situations; emergency reaction and crisis. Examples would include war, earthquakes or other national disasters.
