Flemming Nørklit

Flemming has more than 25 years of General Management experience with global players in technology and professional services. He has worked and lived in Denmark, Germany and the UK and spend significant time in key parts of Asia as well as the Americas.

He started his technical career with British Petroleum but moved quickly to Xerox where he had multiple leadership roles in logistic, product management, sales & marketing until he became MD of the Danish operation. A lot of his focus has always been on strategic market development through channel business and partner programs as well as developing strong value propositions.

Flemming has in the last six years particular concentrated on the BRIC market in developing fast growing businesses. Particular investments in market development in Asia and focussed M&A activities have given him important insights in the challenging cultural balance. His roles have included :

• Global Managing Director for BSI Management Systems, London - Establishing a global strategy to expand a dominant UK position into particular Americas and Asia. Transformed a traditional invert looking organisation to be commercially focused and CRM and global systems played an important role.

• Corp. SVP and CEO / Xerox Germany, led a major turn-around program in which the organisation transformed from invert looking to customer focussed. All key processes were redesigned to gain optimum productivity and the market engagement shifted from direct sales & service to channels and partners.

• Executive Director Xerox Channels Group Europe, London, responsible for the design and development of a European network of product distributors and corporate resellers for SOHO products and supplies.

• Regional Managing Director Xerox Northern Europe, London, merged the individual Nordic country organizations with Benelux to form a US $ 1B independent region.

• Managing Director for Xerox Denmark, Led the development of a small country organization into a corporate benchmark in terms of sales productivity and customer satisfaction
  

As a native Dane he studied electrical engineering and organizational behaviour in Copenhagen and has an SEP diploma from GBS-Stanford University and resides in Copenhagen, Denmark.
